IT'S A ZOO OUT THERE

I see many strange and unusual things when out in the field but this one took the cake!

I was working in Richlands, Virginia, trying to locate a home and not having much luck. It seems half the houses in this town don't have an address number posted, and the other half has old Rural Route numbers posted.

Aimlessly driving around in circles, I caught a glance of something to my left and a few hundred feet down the street. It was a dinosaur.

You heard me right, a dinosaur. Then a gorilla. Then a dog with two heads. What the heck?

Nearly every house on this short street had animal statues in their yard. Bears, turtles, a Velociraptor, and many more. I was laughing as I was driving. Of all the odd things I have seen in small towns, this took the cake.

Anyhow, I found the house and served the individual. I idly asked him what he knew about the strange displays one street over.

His only response was a grunted, "I think they're all related. They're all weird." With that, he turned and went back inside.

I haven't been down that street since then, but I'm making a mental note to drive it again when I'm in the area and hopefully find someone who can give me the full story. Check the photos below.
